Privacy Policy

Signr helps independent professionals in India send agreements and collect legally-recognised electronic signatures. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Your documents — the agreements, templates, uploaded PDFs/images and branding you create in your workspace.
• Signing evidence — when a document is viewed or signed we record the signer's name, timestamp, IP address and browser identifier. This is the audit trail that makes the signature verifiable, and it appears on the completion certificate.
• Contact details you enter — recipient names and email addresses you add to an agreement, and emails submitted through our demo, so we can deliver signing links.
• Session cookie — a single cookie that keeps you logged in. We use no advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To operate the service: deliver signing links, sync your workspace, and send transactional emails (verification codes, signing invitations, reminders, completion copies).
• To produce tamper-evident records: completed agreements are sealed with a SHA-256 hash covering content, signatures and the audit trail.
• To keep the service safe: rate-limiting and abuse prevention use IP addresses.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your documents with anyone except the recipients you choose.

Where it lives

Data is stored on managed servers (Hostinger) and emails are sent from support@signr.online. Documents are retained while your account is active so your signed records stay available as evidence.

Your choices

• You can edit your name, email and password from your profile at any time.
• You can delete draft agreements yourself. Completed agreements form part of both parties' legal record, so we keep them unless every party asks for removal.
• To export or delete your account and data, email support@signr.online — we act on verified requests within 30 days.
